Who we are
Garage Wizard LLC ("Garage Wizard", "we", "us") is a garage cabinet and storage installation company operating in Utah. This policy explains what we collect when you use mygaragewizard.com, why we collect it, and what we will and will not do with it.

What we collect
When you design a garage in our 3D configurator we store the design itself — your garage dimensions, the products you placed, and the resulting estimate. You can do all of that without telling us who you are.
When you ask us to send you the quote, we collect the details you type into that form: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the address where the cabinets would be installed. If you upload photos of your garage, we store those too so the install crew knows what they are walking into.
Like almost every website, we also collect standard analytics through Google Analytics — which pages were visited, roughly where in the world the visitor was, and what kind of device they used. This is aggregate traffic data, not a file on you.
Why we collect it
To send you the quote you asked for, to follow up about it, to schedule a measure or an installation, and to get the right crew to the right address on the right day. That is the whole list.
We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not enrich your record with data bought from anyone else.
Text messages
If you tick the texting box on the quote form, you are agreeing to the following:
By checking this box you agree to receive text messages from Garage Wizard at the number provided — quote follow-ups, scheduling and install-day updates. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. You can decline it and still get your quote, still book a measure, and still have the work done.
Message frequency varies with your project — during an active install you might get several messages in a week; when nothing is happening you will get none.
Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting that number. Reply START to turn it back on. Reply HELP for contact details. Carrier message and data rates may apply, and those are between you and your carrier.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your number is used by Garage Wizard to talk to you about your garage, and for nothing else.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to actually run the business, and they only ever see what they need to do their job: our hosting and database provider, our email provider, our text message provider, and our payment processor. They are bound to use that information only to provide the service to us.
The install crew assigned to your job sees your name, address, phone number and the design — because they have to knock on your door.
We do not sell your information. If we are ever legally compelled to hand something over, we will comply with a valid legal order, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Payments
Deposits and balances are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers — Stripe handles it directly, and we only see the amount, the status, and the last few digits.
How long we keep it
Quote and customer records are kept while the project is live and for as long afterwards as we need them for warranty, accounting and tax purposes. Designs that never became a quote are cleaned up periodically.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@mygaragewizard.com. We will do it, except where we are required to keep a record — a completed sale, for instance, has to stay on the books.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in the footer of any email we send, and from texts by replying STOP.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
Children
This is a service for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we have no interest in doing so.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging will be reflected in the opt-in wording on the form as well.
